WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
Dress comfortably (and casually), in fact, we encourage you to wear a Southwestern shirt. Wear close-toed shoes and bring a jacket in case we work in a refrigerated area.

The Core Purpose of Southwestern University is "Fostering a liberal arts community whose values and actions encourage contributions toward the well-being of humanity." Similarly, one of the University's core values is "Encouraging activism in the pursuit of justice and the common good."

This is why the Southwestern community in the Pacific Northwest has planned this Day of Service. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, visit with friends and do some good for our community.

YOU'RE INVITED!
Members of the Southwestern community living (or visiting) the Pacific Northwest are invited to attend and participate in our Day of Service. This includes alumni, current parents and Trustees.
We encourage you to bring along guests, including members of your family as well as your friends.

A word about children: Although children are welcome, Food Lifeline requires child volunteers to be 6 years old or older.
